Assembly Work in Progress Report

Use this report to list the assemblies in work in progress. You can select on a range of either components or warehouses. An option is provided for a summary report (selected by default). Options are provided so you can choose the costing option for the report, which can be one of the following:

The detailed report lists the assembly code and description, together with the works order number, quantity, price, labour value or material value for assembly cost or just the cost value for all the other cost price options, selling price, selling value and % potential profit. The summary report prints the assembly code/warehouse and description, total quantity, price, total labour value, total material value and a total of material and labour value. The labour value and material value are only printed if the assembly cost option is selected. At the end of the report, the application prints a grand total of the values.

To print the assembly WIP report

  1. Open the BOM folder and then click Reports or click the Supply Chain Management tab on the Ribbon Bar and then click BOM - Reports.

  2. Click Assembly WIP.

  3. In the Sequence list, select the sequence option you want. You can produce the report in assembly or warehouse sequence, then depending on the sequence you have selected, use the From and To lists to define the range of records you want included in the print run.

  4. Under Costing, click to select the cost information you want to include.

  5. If you want to print the summary report, select the Summary Report option.

  6. Click OK.

  7. On the Publisher form, click the tab to select the output device you want to use and then complete any settings or options you want to apply to the output device. To process the output, click Publish.
