Works Order Schedule Report

Use the works order schedule report to produce a works order schedule to help you plan your manufacturing and production cycles. The report can be printed for a range of assemblies, works orders or warehouses. The report details which components you need to issue today, in order to complete the assembly and satisfy works order due dates. The system will calculate the issue date by deducting the lead time for an assembly from the works order due date. For example:

If the due date is included within the due date range, then the works order will be included in the schedule. Options are provided to allow control over various report options. If you select the Material List option, the application will print a materials list showing the component requirements. If you select the Include Forward Orders option, included in the report will be those orders that do not need issuing today to satisfy a due date, but require issue some time within the due date range. For example:

This will be included in the report if the To box under Due Date is set to 3 April. A further option allows you to choose whether to print orders in issue date sequence. The report lists the assembly code, warehouse , description, lead time, due date, quantity to be made, quantity allocated, quantity WIP, quantity made, quantity discarded and issue date. Orders are flagged with a row of asterisks (***) if latest issue date is before the current system date.
