Costing Maintenance

This section is where you define lists for cost rates, cost codes, cost frameworks, subcontractors, contracts, departments and costing views. These codes will be available for selection in the Costing application when costs, budgets, timesheets and so on are recorded.

Cost Rates

Use to maintain a table of standard codes and descriptions that identify different cost rates.

Cost Codes

Use to maintain cost code records that hold information about the types of cost and revenue transactions processed.

Frameworks

Use to group cost codes that are associated. You can create new framework records on the basis of existing ones.

Subcontractors

Use to maintain the name and tax details of subcontractors that are used to work on jobs and contracts.

Contract

Use to maintain contract records to which related jobs can be assigned. Contract reports accumulate the transaction details entered for all jobs and phases associated with the contract so you can have an overall picture of the main contract or project.

Department

Use to maintain a table of department descriptions that you can assign to job records.
