Select Items to Dispose

This form is where you choose the assets you want to dispose. If the asset is held at a number of locations and allocated to different cost centres, you can choose the allocations for disposal here.

Box	Description
Code & Cost Centre	The cost centre/s the asset is currently linked to.
Code & Location	The location/s the asset is currently linked to.
Quantity	The current number of the asset linked to the cost centre/location.
Dispose	The number being disposed for each cost centre/location.
Total Quantity	The total quantity of the asset held in Fixed Assets. If you are fully disposing an asset, this quantity is the same as in the Quantity To Dispose box.
Quantity To Dispose	The quantity remaining to be disposed. This is a total based on the quantity already selected for disposal in the Quantity box for each cost centre/Location allocation. Note: The OK button is enabled when the quantity in this box equates to the Quantity entered on the Disposal Details form.

These commands are displayed on the Action menu.

Action	Description
Dispose F5	Click to dispose all the assets from the cost centre/location.
Part Dispose F6	Click to dispose some of the assets from the cost centre/location. A form is displayed so you can enter the quantity you want to dispose.
