This release includes the new Personal Data Search.
Personal Data Search (Opera 3 only)
Personal Data Search is designed to help Opera 3 users locate
personal data held within an Opera 3 company. All you need to
do is enter the personal information you know and Personal Data
Search will scan through Opera 3 and display a list of the records
that match your search criteria. You can search using a wide range
of criteria, from surname, postcode and email address to address
line and phone number, as well as more detailed information such
as customer account code and employee reference or NI number.
The areas of the system that are searched include:
Sales Ledger: customers and contact
Sales Ledger: Sales Regions / Territories
/ Types / Routes/Despatch
Purchase Ledger: suppliers
and contacts
CRM: company processing,
contact details, contact addresses, helpdesk calls
Nominal Ledger: banks
Cashbook: payees
Fixed Assets: locations
and insurance companies
Payroll: employee
details, pension scheme contacts, bank contacts
Personnel: employee
details, including emergency contacts
People Profiles.
Customer Relationship Management
Also included in this release are these enhancements in the
Sales Pipeline Management module in both Opera 3 and Opera II:
A new form called
Processing Purpose on the Action menu on the Sales Pipeline
Management - Contacts Processing form to capture the purpose
for processing personal data in Sales Pipeline Management,
Service Management and Helpdesk Management.
A new report called
Processing Purpose Review in Sales Pipeline Management provided
so that you can monitor the review date recorded for the lawful
processing of your contacts' data (can also be saved as an
XLS spreadsheet).
New filter options
on the Advanced Search, Mail Merge and Bulk Email forms to
filter contacts using new details that are captured for your
contacts in Sales Pipeline Management, Service Management
and Helpdesk Management. These are the new details:
Two new maintenance
forms to capture Processing Purposes and Special Conditions
for processing personal data, which are used for your contacts.
A new option called
Reverse contact permission flags on the Set Options form in
Sales Pipeline Management that controls whether the Allow
boxes (email addresses and phone and fax numbers) on the contact
record are automatically ticked when they are created.
Enhanced history recording
that creates a new record on the History tab whenever any
of the Allow boxes (email addresses and phone and fax numbers)
and the No Mail Shots, No Bulk E-Mail and No Cold Calls boxes
change.
