This release of Opera 3 SQL SE  introduces a significant functional improvement to Payroll with P6/P9 tax code notifications and the introduction of Fixed Assets.

Details of changes

P6/P9 Tax code notifications –

This new functionality will provide the Payroll users with the ability to download employee tax code data (otherwise referred to as P6 and P9 data) from the Government Gateway’s (Gov-G) Data Provisioning Service (DPS).

Fixed Assets

The Fixed Assets application for Opera 3 SQL SE will allow businesses to maintain a complete register of all company assets. Therefore, helping them stay in complete control of valuable resources the company has invested in.

All assets are tracked from their initial acquisition through to disposal, while tracking their depreciation rates and maintaining the correct value for each asset during their life span.  The application caters for all types of assets, so you can quickly and easily record details of any Finance or Operating Lease and Hire Purchase or Lease Purchase assets, assets owned by the company or assets of any other type.

Various methods of depreciation are catered for and are automatically calculated and deducted until an asset's residual value is reached. All depreciation and disposal details are recorded. Integration to Opera’s Nominal Ledger, along with Cost Centre and Advanced Nominal analysis, Purchase Ledger, Purchase Invoice Register and Purchase Order Processing are also available.

This release also includes some general maintenance.
