Summary

This release of Opera 3 SQL SE includes functional improvements and general maintenance.

E-mailing of an employee P45

The ability to e-mail an employee’s P45 has been added.  It uses the same process for the e-mailing of E-mail Payslips and P60s by using the Pegasus Scheduler.

Banking (BACS) payment files

After upgrading, any news BACS payment files whether through Payroll, Purchase or Cashbook, will be stored in a folder prefixed with the company ID in the Data directory.  For example: \data\Z_BACS where Z_ is the company ID.

Opera 3 Backup & Restore

The company ID is now used in the Backup naming convention.  For example:

Backup20220911132020_A.zip = Company A

System Messages

The length of time a system message is retained for can now be controlled by using the ‘Default Show For’ setting in System Preferences.  The retention period can be for up to 999 days, hours, or minutes.  Where multiple systems are in use the ‘Main’ system settings are used.

Support for Office 2202 is now available with this release.

This release also contains some resolutions to reported defects.
