Purchase Order Processing Help
Use the Models command on the Action menu on the Documents form to create model uncommitted purchase order documents that you can use to generate future documents.
The numbering automatically assigned to models is based on what is specified in the Next Model Number box in the Set Options command on the Utilities menu.
Provided that a model already exists for the current supplier, a browse screen shows the current models. The following information is displayed:

Indicates whether a memo has been created. |

The total model document value. |

The currency code associated with the model document. |

The alternative reference assigned to the model document. |
The following commands are available from the Action menu when the Model window is displayed:

Find Document |
Find a document for any supplier record. You can enter a range of document numbers in the Range From and Range To boxes. When you click Display, the List tab displays the documents found. Select the one you want to process from the list and click OK. |
View Header |
Display the header details of the currently selected model document. |
View Lines |
Display the line details of the currently selected model document. |
History |
Display the creation and revision history details of the currently selected model document. This includes the date and time the document was created and last changed and the user name in each case. |
Edit |
Edit the content of the currently selected document. |
Commit |
Convert the currently selected model document to a uncommitted purchase order document record. |
If no model currently exists for the supplier, the browse screen is empty. On completion, you must confirm you want to post the model document record. When a model exists for a supplier, the application gives you the opportunity to create the document from an existing model if you want to.
