Under Database on the navigation pane, open the Create company view.
The Create company view is used for creating new company 'header' records.
After a header record is created the company details can be entered either from:
the Existing company view in the Server Administration & Monitoring application, or
the Company Profiles form in the System Manager in Opera 3 SQL SE.

Data folder |
This is the location of the Windows file system data that is used in Opera 3 SQL SE, including the secure repository. This includes reports, PDF files, banking files and so on. This folder structure is redesigned for optimum file management of Opera 3 SQL SE files that are held outside of Microsoft SQL Server. The default location for this folder is C:\ProgramData\Pegasus\O3 Server SE. |
Common shared folder | Administrators must create a network share and grant the necessary permissions to the users who will need access to this location in Windows Explorer, for example, to give access for banking software. The common shared folder location is used for:
Each company will have its own sub-folder below the Common folder. For example, for company A in the main system, the common folder will be '\Common\Sys_0\Co_A'. Administrators must grant the necessary permissions to the users who will need access to this location in Windows Explorer or from third party software (for example, banking software products). |
