Transport Modes

Use the Transport Modes command to maintain the codes that identify the mode of transport which is an optional item for inclusion on SDs. The mode of transport is the one active at the frontier, as known to the trader. Where doubt exists, you can record the presumed mode of transport.

You can assign the mode of transport to each EC customer and supplier using the Mode of Transport box on the Sales - Processing - EC VAT form and the Purchase - Processing - EC VAT form.

  6. Not allocated

  7. Fixed Installations (refers to electricity cables, gas or oil pipelines and the like).
