To Set Password Expiry Dates for All Users

  1. Log in to the application using the ADMIN user ID.

  2. Open the System folder and click Utilities or click the Administration tab on the Ribbon Bar and then click System - Utilities.

  3. Click System Preferences.

  4. In the Password Expiry Days box, enter a number of days from today that you need your users' passwords to expire. If there are any users who do not have a password, they will also be forced to enter a new password.

    - If this is the first time the expiry days has been set, all users' passwords will be set to expire on the same day.

    - If this is not the first time the expiry days has changed, users' password expiry dates will be changed only if the calculated date is before any existing expiry date. For example, if the box is set to '20' on the 01/12/2010, users with expiry dates later than 20/12/2010 will be reset to 20/12/2010. Those users with expiry dates before 20/12/2010 will not be reset.

  5. Click OK.

To cancel all users' expiry dates, enter '0' (zero) in the Password Expiry Days box. Then click OK to close the System Preferences form.
